She smiled. "I'm not obsessive about it but I love being in the darkroom. Its like, you have total control. And pictures just capture a moment." She knew that sounded lame and cliche but she didn't care. It was how she'd always found photography. Those photos are sort of the only thing that's keeping me sane. Well besides the partying. She finished her beer and got a Smirnoff from the cooler

"I totally get that." Craig nodded slightly and chugged some of the beer that was in his hand, he probably sounded really weird to her with his arts obsessions but he didn't exactly care, it was his passion in life and it was better than him obsessing over some girl, but who knows how long he would stay single, him and Manny liked to play emotional pin ball way too much.

She looked around the ravine some and then back at him. "I notice you don't have some girl clinging all over you. Big rockstar and no girl? That's odd." She laughed a little. She hoped that her tone showed that she was teasing. That would be horrible if he took it the wrong way... or if he was gay.

"Didn't you know? I came out last year, I am totally gay now." He said with a straight face and then saw some shocked expression appear across her's and let out a laugh. "I'm joking, I just had a bad break up with my girlfriend, so I am single at the moment for once." He replied honestly this time, he tried to not to frown. "It sucks I come back and then get dumped."

She frowned a little about the girlfriend thing and then offered a small smile. "Well look at it this way, you're a hot rockstar who can probably get a girl in each province and then a few in the states too." She laughed a small delicate laugh. "Or you could just try to get whoever it is back if that's what you want." Listen to me, offering advice on relationships when I've never really had one.

"She would deserve it, it wouldn't surprise me if she had some other guy on the side waiting." He didn't care how mean that sounded but maybe it was the reason why Manny had all a sudden stopped being all 'Ou Craig I love you' and all 'I can't do this anymore'. "Girls suck, I don't know why I keep trying all these serious relationships and then in the end I am the one who gets hurt, I've made mistakes but..that was awhile ago and I learned my lesson."

"That's why I don't do relationships. They end up with someone, or multiple people, getting hurt and its not worth it." She realized that seemed a little slutty since she was seen going into the van on occasion. But it wasn't like she was in there having sex. Just making out, sometimes going to different bases but only if she liked the guy and never for bracelets. I'm not selling my body for a piece of plastic. So not cool.

Craig nodded slightly. "Well I wish I could be more like you to be honest, my life would be sooo much easier..I even tried being a monk last year and focus on just my music and the band, but that didn't go so well." He laughed alittle and looked over at Elex as he finished off his beer in his hand and reached in and grabbed his third one of the night, he had a beer before she had even approached him. "So..then what do you do? Hook up?"

She took a sip of her Smirnoff and nodded. "Yeah but I don't go too far with anyone here. I'm not a fan of diseases and I'm not selling my body for some stupid bracelet... or my health for that matter." She grinned a little and put the empty smirnoff bottle down, debating on whether or not to have her fourth drink of the night. "And I'm taking the monk thing didn't work too well, judging by the aforementioned bad break up?"

Craig laughed and smiled at Elex. "Good to know one girl at the Ravine has a mind of her own and keeps control of situations, no one wants a std." He nodded slightly and heard her mention the monk thing and shook his head a no. "Nope sure didn't...I ended up having to pick between my best friend and my ex girlfriend, I picked the ex and it went fine until I left for Vancouver, I couldn't call her all the time and it pissed her off.."

She rolled her eyes at his situation. "Yes because heaven forbid you go two minutes without talking to your girlfriend. I hate when girls get mad about stupid shit like that." She was probably coming off as the total opposite of a normal girl but it didn't matter to her. Despite never having a boyfriend she knew that she wouldn't be like that when she finally did get one. Mainly because girls like that on movies or tv or even in the stories she'd heard about in the ravine pissed her off.

Craig stared at her for a moment, he couldn't believe he was actually having a girl on his side for once, he blinked twice. "Wow this is a first, usually girls are all like blah blah you are a terrible boyfriend for not calling blah blah." He said with a smile. "Different is good though, I like different." He opened his can of beer and took a long sip of it before removing it from his lips and down at his lap again.

She grabbed another smirnoff and then smiled at Craig. "Look, I'm no expert on relationships but I think that everyone is allowed to have their own lives and you were on tour. Its not like you had to live on the phone with whoever your girlfriend was and if she missed out because she was waiting around the phone, that's not your fault." She knew that she wasn't the typical girl because of her view of relationships. "Anyway, that's why they have cell phones for."

"Everytime I would go to call her, it was way too late or so I thought,, apparently she had waited up late at night just to see if I would call, it's not fair...she makes me feel bad for persuring my dream when I know if she got a chance like this for her acting, she would hop right on it." He vented, it was nice to be able to talk to a girl who wouldn't be on a girl's side, infact this girl seems like she would tell you like it is whether you liked it or not.

"Again why relationships suck. All I know is that you should be able to chase your dream because I don't think you'd be pissed if she went off and chased hers and couldn't call you because it was too late." She smiled. She didn't know him that well and she didn't know the girl he was talking about at all, but from what she could tell, he didn't seem like a guy that would get pissed at a girl for following her dreams. Especially since he's a dreamer himself.
